Special Olympics BC offers the Volunteer Professional Development Series to thank the remarkable administrative volunteers who do so much to make SOBC programs possible and create opportunities for these amazing individuals to connect, learn, and brainstorm together.
This workshop will be an opportunity to hear about SOBC's volunteer recognition program, including a discussion on the annual awards and Year of Service pins. We will also include some discussion on what cool and unique things Locals have done for volunteer recognition and share ideas on what is possible to do. Our discussion on the annual awards and year of service pins will mostly be informational rather than discussion-based, but please bring your questions so we can answer those throughout as well!
