Onboarding Volunteers: How to Convert Joiners to Stayers to Leaders
Date: Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
Location: Virtual on Zoom (Register here)
About the virtual seminar:
Commitment is a process, not a destination, so you can’t afford to leave your new volunteer onboarding process to chance.
In this 60-minute online seminar, you will learn how to:
• Map the new volunteer journey to discover hidden needs that, when fulfilled, propel momentum.
• Supply meaningful supports that build confidence and reduce the time lag between recruitment and active service.
• Save time by automating part (if not all) of your onboarding process to build relationships while you sleep.
• Bake in pathways that help pique the interest of high potentials for future leadership roles.
You will get:
• Volunteer Onboarding Strategy Workbook
• Slide Thumbnails for Notetaking
Let’s make sure your new volunteers stick by employing a purposeful and strategic onboarding system that results in high satisfaction and intent to stay!
About the presenter, Tobi Johnson, MA, CVA:

In 2015, she founded VolunteerPro, an online training and networking community for leaders of volunteers.
