Torch Run fundraising tips

Law Enforcement Torch Run

When you raise funds through the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics BC, you are helping create empowering opportunities for more than 5,200 athletes with intellectual disabilities across the province. Thank you so much for helping SOBC change lives and build more inclusive communities!

Raising funds through the Torch Run for SOBC is easy and fun!

Here is a five-step plan you could use to raise $100:

  1. Register for the Torch Run and donate $25 to yourself.
  2. Email four coworkers or classmates and ask them each to pledge $10.
  3. Announce on social media that you will be running/walking with Torch Run. Ask for donations in your post, and receive $15 from friends.
  4. Ask two family members to each donate $10.
  5. Lace up and start clocking kilometres – you’ve already raised $100! Congratulations!
