Annual Registration is Now Open!

Information for Athletes

prior to Attending Special Olympics Programs ALL NEW AND RETURNING ATHLETES MUST:

  • Submit their Athlete Registration Form, and
  • Contact the office to sign-up for programs once the program schedule is available for each season. The Fall/Winter program schedule will be available around the beginning of October.

IMPORTANT: If the above steps are not completed, athletes will be required to delay their participation in activities until everything is complete.

A paper form can be mailed if requested from the office but completing forms online is preferred for all members. If paper forms are used, they must be returned to the office, by one of the following methods:

Information for Volunteers 

prior to Attending Special Olympics Programs ALL NEW AND RETURNING COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS MUST:

  • Submit their Volunteer Registration Form, and
  • Contact the office to sign-up for programs once the program schedule is available for each season. The Fall/Winter program schedule will be available around the beginning of October.
  • Ensure your Criminal Record and / or Vulnerable Sector Checks are up to date.

Please note: for those that require a renewal of your Criminal Record Check (CRC) or Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC), you will need to contact the Special Olympics PEI office to request a CRC/VSC reference letter to submit when you request your CRC/VSC. If you are unsure when you submitted your last CRC/VSC, please contact Special Olympics PEI, either by calling 902-368-8919 or via email at sopei@sopei.com.

  • Class A Volunteers with more than 3 years of experience only require a check every 3 years
  • Class A Volunteers with 3 years or less experience require the check annually
