Provincial Games

Providing quality competitive opportunities for Island athletes
Special Olympics PEI, 3 Athletes, PEI Flag, Team PEI

Provincial Games are held every two years, with the exception of 5-Pin bowling which is offered every year, and alternate between Summer and Winter. Games are either held on-Island, or in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick Provincial Games serve as a qualifier for advancement to National Games.

2022 Special Olympics Nova Scotia Summer Provincial GAmes

Team PEI athletes competed in the sports of athletics, basketball, swimming, softball, soccer and golf. The Games took place in Antigonish, Nova Scotia from July 15-17, 2022. 

2019 Special Olympics Nova SCotia Summer PRovincial Games

Team PEI athletes competed in the sports of swimming and athletics. The Games took place in Wolfville, Nova Scotia from July 12-14, 2019. 

2019 Special Olympics New Brunswick Winter Provincial Games

Team PEI athletes competed in the sports of Curling, Floor Hockey and Snowshoeing. The Games took place in Miramichi, New Brunswick from February 21-24, 2019. 

2019 Special Olympics Nova Scotia Winter Provincial Games

Team PEI athletes competed in the sports of Speedskating and Figure Skating. The Games took place in Aldershot, Nova Scotia from February 22-24, 2019. 

2019 Special Olympics PEI 5-Pin Bowling Provincials

Bowling programs from across PEI gathered for a weekend of bowling competition. The Provincials took place in Charlottetown from May 25-26, 2019.
