Team PEI 2024 had a very successful week at the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games Calgary 2024!
Team PEI, represented by 33 athletes and 21 coaches and mission staff, competed in 7 sports at the Winter Games: 5-Pin Bowling, Cross Country Ski, Curling, Figure Skating, Floor Hockey Snowshoe and Speed Skating. The 2024 Games were the return of National Games, following the pandemic. Team PEI was anxious to compete, and show the country what Island athletes are capable of.
Team PEI earned a total of 21 medals - 8 Gold, 9 Silver, and 4 Bronze, along with numerous Personal Bests, at the Games. See the full results - Team PEI 2024 Results
Team PEI will be arriving home to the Charlottetown airport on Sunday, March 3 at 5:37pm.
