Special Olympics PEI Receives Support from PEI Automobile Dealers Association

PEI Automobile Dealers Association

Special Olympics PEI is pleased to acknowledge the financial support of the PEI Automobile Dealers Association (PEIADA) over the last 32 years.  Following another very successful April Car Campaign, when Dealer Members remit to the PEIADA office, a sum of money for every vehicle sold/leased during the month of April, the PEIADA donated $13,205 to Special Olympics PEI this year.

This year’s contribution from the PEIADA brings the cumulative amount donated to Special Olympics PEI over the past 32 years to a grand total of $217,970.

Special Olympics PEI is the charity of choice of the Prince Edward Island Automobile Dealers Association (PEIADA). This year marks the 32nd anniversary of PEIADA’s April Car Campaign. This money goes towards a collective donation to Special Olympics PEI, which is combined with the proceeds garnered from a live auction of several items at their Annual Golf Tournament and Lobster/Beef Dinner.

Speaking about the 32 year partnership, Charity Sheehan, Executive Director of Special Olympics PEI expressed gratitude to the PEIADA, saying “partnerships of this scale and longevity deserve to be celebrated and highlighted. On behalf of all of our athletes and volunteers we extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the Dealer Members and to the PEIADA for being supporters of the Special Olympics movement.”
