Special Olympics PEI would like to acknowledge and thank the PEI Councils of the Knights of Columbus for their ongoing support of Islanders with an intellectual disability. The Knights of Columbus are a supporter of the Special Olympics movement on an international scale. Locally, the various Knights of Columbus Councils support Special Olympics PEI in numerous ways, including raising funds and through volunteerism.
The PEI Knights of Columbus recently donated $1,731 to Special Olympics PEI at their Annual State Banquet in Fort Agustus. Special Olympics PEI youth athlete Ben MacDonald (pictured left), accepted the donated from Richard Allen, State Deputy, PEI Knights of Columbus.
