Special Olympics PEI is in need of volunteers willing to assist with two Healthy Athlete events being hosted in O'Leary (January 28th 9am-2:30pm) and Montague (February 4th 9-2:30pm).
These Strong Minds screenings are being offered to anyone with an intellectual disability for FREE!
Special Olympics is reaching out to anyone willing to help individuals learn and practice healthy behaviors. Experience within healthcare, students studying in the field, or keen volunteers are welcomed to join; there are volunteer roles during this impactful event for everyone! The specialized backgrounds and expertise you have to offer can ensure that the event reaches its maximum potential. Please accept the challenge of empowering our athletes by promoting healthy behaviors and lifestyles.
Please share this opportunity within your networks. Special Olympics is able to provide lunch/snacks and gas/mileage for people traveling from outside the event location area.
