Sport PEI is preparing to host their 48th annual awards on March 31!
Our very own Amber Metcalfe, is the 2021 Sport PEI Inspiration Award winner. Over the past 22 years, as an athlete with Special Olympics PEI, Amber has inspired countless individuals! This past year Amber faced a number of medical challenges, any one of which could have side-lined her, however, her spirit, persistence and great work-ethic had her back out to programs in true Amber fashion, with a smile on her face!
Congratulations Amber on receiving this year's Sport PEI Inspiration Award! You truly are in inspiration to the entire Special Olympics community as well as the rest of the sporting community here on PEI!
