RCMP Commanding Office Jennifer Ebert, Special Olympics PEI, LETR

Commanding Officer of PEI RCMP, Chief Superintendent Jennifer Ebert has been involved with the Law Enforcement Torch Run committee for 4 years.

Quickly upon moving to PEI, Ebert became part of the LETR committee, representing the Chiefs of Police. As the Commanding Officer of PEI RCMP, Ebert had the opportunity to hold the torch with Maritime Hall of Fame athlete, Michael Morris, after lighting the cauldron at the Opening Ceremonies of the 2018 Special Olympics Canada Bowling Championships. Ebert has continually championed our athletes. She has shown remarkable dedication, likely best exemplified by the role she played in making athlete Oliver Vennaman's 20th birthday wish, to be an honourary police officer, a reality.
