Meet the Special Olympics Team BC 2020 floor hockey teams

Our Special Olympics Team BC 2020 Training Squad is fortunate to have two talented floor hockey teams:

• Team BC Cougars with players from SOBC – North Shore, Burnaby, Richmond, and Abbotsford
• Team BC Vipers with players from SOBC – Comox Valley, Powell River, Victoria, and Nanaimo

They are supported by six super coaches from Comox Valley, Powell River, North Shore, Abbotsford, and Victoria.

Many of the Vipers are entering back-to-back National Winter Games because they also competed in the 2016 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Many of the Cougars will be competing at National Games for the first time, but several team members are making a return to the national stage having previously played together in 2004 in PEI. All are committed to their training and ready to represent B.C. with pride!
