When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

I joined Special Olympics in 1996 after a friend's mom told me about it. 

Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

Yeah it will be my first time, so I'm looking forward to it for sure. It's very exciting!

What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

It was great. I felt confident and I'm feeling very confident heading into these Nationals. 

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?

It's an honour, I hope my team will win a lot of games and I hope I will score some goals as well.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To win and continue to compete.

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

Winning, playing hard as you can and do your best.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

Scoring goals and of course winning. 

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Just playing in the tournaments. 

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

Well if they love playing sports then they should join. 

What other Special Olympics sports do you participate in?

Basketball, track and field, and soccer.

I'm very helpful and am a thoughtful guy.
