When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

I got involved in 2010 and I was asked by a friend to come to a Special Olympics ski practice.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games were you part of and in what role(s)?

This is my second National Games. My first was the 2018 National Summer Games as a golf caddie/coach.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?

It is an honour to be part of Team BC and to be part of an elite group of individuals.

What is/are your goal(s) for these National Games?

My goal is to support and encourage all members of Team BC to give their best effort.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

My favourite experience has been all of them, this is what keeps me coming back every day!

What does competing at National Games mean to your athletes? (or, if this is your first National Games, competition in general)

Competing in National Games to the athletes means being able to represent B.C. as the best in their sport.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?

Special Olympics is a rewarding experience helping individuals believe in themselves to achieve more.
