Special Olympics BC offers grassroots sports programs and competitions in many communities across the province. At the local level, athletes with intellectual disabilities are given the opportunity to reach their full potential in the sports they play and create lasting friendships with others.

Our communities are powered by the dedication of thousands of volunteers. They take on a wide range of roles and are vital to many aspects of running SOBC programs in their communities. Every individual who is involved at the community level is giving athletes with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to find inclusion and joy through the power of sport.

Our communities are categorized into eight Regions. Click on a community to find information on sports offered, program schedules, contact information, and more.
