Feel your best this fall

SOBC athlete training tips

Fall can be filled with colds and illnesses; make sure you are washing your hands often and visit your doctor during this time of year to make sure you’re as healthy as can be.

Doctors check your overall health including your height, weight, blood pressure, reflexes, ears, eyes, and throat. They will help you if you are experiencing pain or generally feeling unwell, such as sore feet, upset stomach, and headaches.

When you see a doctor they can also screen for medical conditions: such as breast, cervical, and prostate cancers, infections, blood deficiencies, and many others. They will sometimes refer you to a specialist who better understands specific areas of the body. Visiting doctors regularly can help you stay healthy and perform your best as an athlete.
