We are seeking volunteers from the metro area for the SONL Summer Games 2022, Games Organizing Committee (GOC). The SONL Summer Games are taking place from Thursday, July 14th to Sunday, July 17th, 2022 in various venues throughout the metro region. You do not need to be a current volunteer with Special Olympics NL to get involved!
Members of the Games Organizing Committee (GOC) typically meet monthly beginning 12-6 months prior to Games, moving to bi-weekly 4 months prior, and then weekly 1-2 months prior. Our meetings are hybrid, so you can join in-person or online. GOC members would have to be committed and available as required leading up to and during the Games. Special Olympics NL Staff and additional volunteers work in conjunction with all GOC members.
