When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

2003. I started Special Olympics through a friend.  

Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

No, I was involved in the National Games in Quebec City and Newfoundland.

What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

Our team won gold in the A division in floor hockey, I felt that I played pretty well.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?

It means the world to be a part of these Games.

What is your goal for these National Games?

My goal is to win gold in the A division. 

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

Competing at the National Games is very exciting. 

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I love to watch and play hockey. 

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

My favourite experience is getting together with old friends you don’t get to see all the time and meeting new one across Canada.

What other Special Olympics sports do you participate in?

Swimming, bowling, softball, and Club Fit

What is one word you would use to describe yourself? :)
