When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

I was 10 years old when I started in Special Olympics with the swimming program.

Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

Yes, this will be my first Special Olympics Canada Games.

What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

Although [my Prince George] team did not win and advance to the Canada Games, I was asked to play with the Kitimat team. It's my honour and great pleasure to join this team.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?

I love it! I'm very excited to play with great athletes!

What is your goal for these National Games?

I want to do my best at these Games. I hope I can help my team be the best they can be.

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

I'm proud to be part of such a great experience.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I like to get the rocks closest to the centre! I like working together with the other curlers to make that happen.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

That is hard to say. I love being with my team. We are good friends and help each other, together we have had many great moments.

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

It's fun! You get to meet new friends and new teammates. You can just be yourself. If you win or you lose, it doesn't matter as long as you are together.

What other Special Olympics sports do you participate in?

I also take part in swimming, 10-pin bowling, powerlifting, basketball, floor hockey, soccer, and golf.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I like to be busy. I love my job at Starbucks. I'm very happy to be going to college this year. I love doing things with my family.

What is one word you would use to describe yourself? :)

Inquisitive.
