Our Special Olympics Alberta 50/50 cash raffle fundraiser for the month of July will support our Zone 5 affiliates and community programs in Leduc, Spruce Grove & District, & St. Albert.
Through Special Olympics, athletes develop sport skills, social skills and self-esteem, which assist them in becoming actively involved in recreational, educational and employment opportunities in their local affiliates across the province.
The funds raised by this month’s 50/50 raffle will help cover program costs for the 309 athletes who participate in Zone 5 programs like 5-Pin Bowling, 10-Pin Bowling, Active Start, Athletics, Basketball, Bocce, Curling, Floor Hockey, Golf, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Snowshoeing, Soccer, Softball, Speed Skating, and Swimming.
