On November 2nd and 3rd athletes gathered in Regina for Athlete Speaker Training. The Speaker Training is part of the Athlete Leadership Program, which provides professional development opportunities for athletes. Through the Speaker Training, athletes work with a mentor on writing and delivering a speech about Special Olympics. By the end of the weekend, all the athletes did a fantastic job delivering their speeches and telling their inspiring Special Olympics stories.
