My favourite thing about Special Olympics:
My favorite thing about Special Olympics is the atmosphere. The positivity is great.
My greatest accomplishment:
In February, I went to Thunder Bay Ontario. I won 3 gold medals for Alberta! I won Gold in Giant Slalom, Slalom and Super G! I also was picked to be Special Olympics Male Athlete of the year award for Edmonton!
How Special Olympics changed my life:
Special Olympics has given me a sport that I can participate in and a team to be a part of. I also have gotten to travel.
How I've been staying healthy and active at home:
I have been going on walks and bike rides. I also like to go on my scooter. I also do some workout exercises at home.
My favourite memory:
My favorite memory is traveling to Thunder Bay and staying in the hotel.
Why you should Draft an Athlete to help us get back to the playing field:
Special Olympics helps people who may not have had a chance to participate in sport or team activities and have a community that supports them. It helps people do the sports they love in a helpful and supportive environment.
What I'm looking forward to most when returning to our regular Special Olympics programming:
Skiing! I have missed skiing and being with the team!
