Truck Pull is a huge success!

The 2022 Truck Pull was a huge success, bringing in over $20,000 for Special Olympics Saskatchewan programs.

The 7 registered teams and their families fueled up with with a pancake breakfast provided by Safeway and prepared by the Knights of Columbus. Following breakfast, MLA Gary Grewal joined us to bring greetings on behalf of SaskTel, a corporate partner of Special Olympics Saskatchewan and supporter of the Truck Pull. After that, the competition was on!

All 7 teams took two opportunities to pull a 15 tonne truck provided by Hornoii Leasing, 15 metres. Teams worked together to get the truck moving and all teams had impressive times. The quickest time, at just over 11 seconds, went to Team James from Slinkemo. They took home some cool prizes and bragging rights! While they weren't the fastest, the most spirited team award went to the SOS/RPS Unified Pull Team.

It goes without saying how appreciative we are of every participant, volunteer and sponsor that supported this increible event. Special thanks goes to Slinkemo for their incredible donation to this years Truck Pull!

A big thanks goes to the following:
