The Special Olympics Saskatchewan Unified Sports Invitationals were so much fun!
Unified Invitationals were held across the province over three days with 21 Schools from Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert participating. In total, about 311 athletes participated in two different sports - Baggo and Bocce. Thank you to the teachers, support staff, and students for being leaders of authentic inclusion!
The best indication of success is the demonstration of 2 key determinants - building bridges and breaking barriers. Thank you to everyone for helping run a quality Unified program and for choosing to include. See you all next year!
