The Sport Injury Prevention and Care (SIPaC) Workshop through the Sport Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan introduces content that deals with sport specific issues relating to:
- Liability
- Fitness and injury prevention
- Facility awareness
- Protective equipment
- Emergency action plans
- Medical kit
- Life threatening injuries
- Injury recognition, and
- Common injuries geared towards sport in general
The workshop is a mixture of lecture, individual assignments, and demonstrations and group activities with a 30 minute lunch incorporated into workshop. There will be no registration fee for this course. Registration deadline is Wednesday, May 17th, 2023. Maximum number of participants is 15.
