Special Olympics Yukon is excited to announce that for the second time, we are sending a Unified bocce team to compete in an out of Territory competition! Special Olympics Yukon will be represented at the Special Olympics Manitoba- School Programs Unified Bocce Event by Whitehorse’s very own St. Francis of Assisi Crusaders.
The St. Francis of Assisi Crusaders won gold in the Yukon Unified Bocce Championship, held on December 8th, 2022, competing against fellow high schools in the Territory including Del Van Gorder, and two teams from Porter Creek Secondary. This secured their spot to compete in the upcoming event in Winnipeg for this unforgettable experience. Good luck Crusaders!
