The snow dance did not work. As with all outdoor sports, Mother Nature calls the shots. Unfortunately due to lack of usable snow in Calgary and area we have to cancel the Cross Country Ski event at the 2019 Special Olympics Alberta Winter Games. Our athletes will get an opportunity to compete for Team Alberta at the B.C. Provincials. Thank you to our amazing sponsor – Canadian Progress Club. Their funds will go to support our Snowshoe athletes who are able to compete with far less snow coverage.
