On the heels of the 2017 Special Olympics Alberta Summer Games, Team Alberta selections is in the stages with initial selection and endorsement lists sent to affiliates. Affiliates will now be reaching out to athletes and coaches for endorsements with full team roster announcement expected to be in September.
We're also accepting applications for one medical liaison and two mission staff (one male and one female). If you're interested in being part of the team and fulfill any of the these roles, please email your cover letter and resume to jmoore@specialolympics.ab.ca. Deadline for submission is August 30. If selected, members must be available for the first Head Coach and Mission Meeting held on September 8th and 9th.
