24-year-old Sheldon has been with Special Olympics for 11 years. Sheldon’s brother, Nathan, is also a basketball player and their team won medals at both the Provincial and National Games. Sheldon says that Special Olympics has made his life better and it’s an honour to attend the 2019 World Games. He is excited for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, the opportunity to meet new people and to do his best for himself and his team. Sheldon also enjoys watching the news and reading.
