Rosemary has been a Special Olympics Coach for snowshoeing, skiing, athletics, bowling and curling for 12 years. Both of her children are also long-term volunteers. Rosemary says that Special Olympics and the athletes have changed the way she looks at life in general. She is excited to experience the world stage with this exemplary group whom she adores and to help Canada’s dream team reach their individual potentials. Rosemary’s goals for her first World Games are to bring back many new techniques and drills to her local program in Stephenville, NL, make new friendships and create lots of great memories. Rosemary has also been named Special Olympics Canada’s 2018 Female Coach of the Year.
