Biography: 

Hailing from Glace Bay, NS, Mary has been with Special Olympics for 15 years. She says her involvement has made her a better person and taught her to expand her skills development for sports in her community. She sees the World Games as an opportunity to meet new friends and learn from other coaches and athletes. Mary is on the Board of Directors for the local Crime Stoppers and attends Special Olympics events five evenings a week.
