Biography: 

John is a coach for the Kelowna, B.C. golf program. His son, Caleb is his Assistant Coach and his wife, Katherine, helps organize golf events. At his first World Games, John will be caddie for athlete Kyle Grummett. John says that Special Olympics has introduced him to a whole network of special and wonderful people, athletes and volunteers alike, and to experience the pure joy of sport that is not consumed with winning. His goals for the Special Olympics World Summer Games, Abu Dhabi 2019 are to support his athlete to reach their personal best, see every sport at least once, and enjoy the opportunity to experience Special Olympics at the highest level.
