Biography:
25-year-old Gordie from St. Thomas has won 11 Gold medals in his 17 years as a Special Olympics athlete. He represented Ontario at the 2018 National Games in Antigonish and the 2014 National Games in Vancouver. Both his parents have been involved with Special Olympics for 19 years. Gordie describes Special Olympics as a dream come true. His goals for the 2019 Games are to win all Gold medals and to be the best in the world.
