Biography:

George, 52 years old, has been involved with Special Olympics for 30 years and has won over 250 medals. George started with Floor Hockey and proceeded to try many different sports. His favourites are Soccer, Snowshoeing and Track and Field. George is visually and hearing impaired. He overcame these challenges and now lives independently, has met many new friends and is proud to be a Canadian athlete representing his country. His happiest moment will be to win a Gold medal at the upcoming World Games.
