Special Olympics PEI, Team PEI 2024, Tommy Ling

Tommy has been a Special Olympics athlete for 13 years. Tommy is one of two Cross Country Ski athletes who will be representing PEI at the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games 2024 in Calgary, Alberta.

Tommy is no stranger to competing at the National Games level. Tommy has attended 5 previous National Games, in 2 separate sports - Cross Country Ski and Bocce. Looking ahead to the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games 2024, Tommy is hoping to do his best. He is looking forward to meeting old and new friends, and cheering on other athletes.

Tommy is one of several Team PEI members to have a family connection on the team. Tommy's sister, Lynda Hontscharowicz, is one of Team PEI's Apprentice Coaches through the Special Olympics Canada NextGen Coaching Apprenticeship Program.

Supporters of Special Olympics PEI are invited to follow Team PEI 2024, both in the lead-up to, and during the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games 2024! Our Team PEI 2024's website will be updated with schedules and results during the Games, and our social media channels - Facebook and Instagram, will have photos and up to the minute news and highlights.
