Kimana, an 18-year-old athlete from Ottawa, has been involved with Special Olympics for 10 years. She won five Gold and one Silver at the Special Olympics World Summer Games, Los Angeles 2015, six Gold at the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games, Antigonish 2018 and five Gold at Provincial Games. Kimana’s mother is a coach and her father is an active fundraiser. Kimana’s favourite routine is ribbon in Rhythmic Gymnastics. She loves learning, doing school work, singing, and dancing ballet.
