Ten years.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
Special Olympics has brought a lot of enjoyment to my life as a volunteer with the organization.
What do you like most about the sport you will be competing in at Special Olympics World Summer Games Berlin 2023?
It is a team sport that requires athletes to not just work on their individual skill sets but also requires them to develop trust and reliance on their teammates.
What is your proudest moment with Special Olympics?
Getting to the point as a team where I can sit back and be a cheerleader instead of a coach because the athletes are putting all their knowledge into action on the court.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
It is a very unique opportunity to use the game I love as a tool to hopefully provide 10 athletes with the experience of a lifetime.
What is your goal for Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023?
My goal is to be fully present and enjoy every moment as we work as a team to represent our country to the best of our abilities.
