I have been involved with Special Olympics for 5 years.
What is your proudest moment with Special Olympics?
Seeing the athletes competing at and experiencing the joy of the National and World Games.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
I’m honoured to be on the Leadership Team for Special Olympics Team Canada 2023 and to be part of the team’s journey from the time of selection to when the team walks in at the Opening Ceremony and the athletes take their first steps onto their fields of play. I can’t wait to see the Games through the eyes of our coaches, mission staff and athletes.
What is your goal for Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023?
That the athletes, coaches, and mission staff are able to take in and enjoy every minute of their experience at the Games. That all the hard work and dedication the athletes have put into their training propels them to perform at their best on the World stage.
