For 30+ years.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
I have made so many Special Olympics friends from all over Saskatchewan and Canada.
What do you like most about the sport you will be competing in at Special Olympics World Summer Games Berlin 2023?
I love powerlifting! I get to show how strong I am. And I love meeting other powerlifters!
What is your proudest moment with Special Olympics?
In 2018, I won 4 medals at the Special Olympics Canada National Summer Games and my whole family was there to watch me, and some aunts, uncles and friends. So cool!
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
My friends played on Team Canada Junior Hockey and now I am on Team Canada. They are now cheering for me, just like I cheered for them.
What is your goal for Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023?
My goal is to lift over 1,000 lbs. total in the three lifts.
