Winter 2027 Special Olympics Saskatchewan Provincial Games

    Special Olympics Saskatchewan is proud to announce the 2027 Provincial Winter Games. Athletes from across the province have earned their place at the Games through qualifying competitions held throughout Saskatchewan. Their selection is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence in sport.

    The Provincial Winter Games provide athletes with the opportunity to compete at the highest level within Saskatchewan and serve as a pathway to national competition at the 2028 National Games. Preparation for the 2027 Provincial Winter Games starts now for the selected athletes.

    Special Olympics Saskatchewan supports athletes with intellectual disabilities from communities across the province through year-round sport, training, and competition opportunities.

    Participation in the Winter Provincial Games allows Special Olympics athletes to build confidence, form lasting friendships, demonstrate the results of their hard work, and represent their communities with pride.

    Alpine Skiing: February 26 – 28, 2027 in Winnipeg, Manitoba

    Curling: January 22 – 24, 2027 in Regina

    Figure Skating: February 26 – 28, 2027 in Moose Jaw

    Floorball: January 29 – 31, 2027 in Prince Albert

    Snowshoe: February 19 – 21, 2027 in Saskatoon

    5-Pin Bowling: February 12 – 14 in Regina

    Cross-Country Skiing: TBD
