Knights of Columbus Present Donation to Special Olympics Saskatchewan

    Special Olympics Saskatchewan was proud to receive a generous donation of $9,514 from the Knights of Columbus during the organization’s 2026 Annual General Meeting.

    Regina, SK — Special Olympics Saskatchewan (SOS) was proud to receive a generous donation of $9,514 from the Knights of Columbus during the organization’s 2026 Annual General Meeting held on April 19, 2026. 

    The donation was formally presented to Executive Director, Rhae-Ann Holoien, by Knights of Columbus Representative, Terry Shalley, continuing a long-standing tradition of support for Special Olympics athletes across the province. 

    “The Knights of Columbus have been tremendous champions of Special Olympics Saskatchewan for more than five decades,” said Rhae‑Ann Holoien, Executive Director of Special Olympics Saskatchewan. “Their steadfast commitment — grounded in both fundraising and volunteerism — directly benefits our athletes by supporting sport programs, training opportunities, and competitions that foster confidence, inclusion, and community.” 

    The Knights of Columbus raise funds annually in support of Special Olympics, demonstrating an ongoing dedication to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities through sport. Donations such as this one play a critical role in ensuring athletes have access to safe, meaningful, and enriching athletic experiences.
