Shed Raffle Fundraiser Continues to be Success for Special Olympics PEI

The 2026 Shed Raffle / $10,000 Cash Fundraiser was another amazing success! Following a busy summer of sales, in partnership with the Evangeline ATV Club, $60,420 was raised. After expenses, Special Olympics PEI was thrilled to accept a cheque for $28,971!

2026 marks the 5th year of partnership between Special Olympics PEI and the Evangeline ATV Club.  Given the ongoing success of the fundraiser, the Shed Raffle is an important fundraiser for both Special Olympics PEI and the Evangeline ATV Club. Here at Special Olympics, funds are used to support grassroots sports programs in communities across the Island. Additionally, these funds support Athlete Leadership and inclusive health opportunities for our athletes. The Evangeline ATV Club uses their share of the funds to support trail maintenance and development. Funds raised are split evenly between the two organizations. 

This year's Shed Raffle fundraiser was sponsored by Island Portable Buildings, Kennedy Metals, Island Structural Systems, Betts Mills, MacLellan Electric, Biggar Overhead Doors, North Rustico Home Hardware, Callbeck’s Home Hardware, and Kent Summerside!

A sincere thank you to all of our members who sold tickets and who volunteered to sell tickets at a table over the summer. Fundraisers of this size simply wouldn't be possible without the support of our members!

Thank you as well to the various locations who sold tickets, including: Sobeys Montague, Sobeys West Royalty, Sobeys Stratford, Dennis Motors, Wellington Service Station, Cook's Convenience, Wellington Co-Op, Mel's Summerside and Murphy's Pharmacies Island wide.
