    Head Coach: Donna Campbell

Head Coach, Donna Campbell, who coaches both Athletics and Snowshoe in West Prince, has been a volunteer with Special Olympics PEI for over 20 years.

Special Olympics PEI has helped me to build up confidence and has given me a passion to help others realize their dreams and seeing dreams of my own happen. It is all about believing in yourself which is really the only challenge that needs to be overcome.

Jeremy Wall has been a Special Olympics athlete for 18 years. Jeremy first heard about Special Olympics from former Floor Hockey coach, Barry Murray, at the local coffee shop in Jeremy's hometown of Kensington.

I said yes to him. I have been to many new places and met many friends along the way.

Jeremy and Keegan have been teammates many times previously. They have competing together at 3 past Special Olympics Canada Winter Games as members of Team PEI Floor Hockey. Additionally, both where members of Special Olympics Team Canada 2023, and competed at the World Winter Games in Berlin. Jeremy competed in the sport of Athletics, while Keegan was a member of the Men's Basketball team.

The Special Olympics Canada Summer Games 2026 will be Keegan's first Summer Games. Despite this, Keegan gained a wealth of experience last summer competing as a member of Team PEI 2025 at the Canada Games. Keegan set 2 PEI Provincial Records in Special Olympics divisions, competing in the 100m and 200m events.

Participating in Special Olympics has taught me to appreciate all the small things in life and to separate myself from the negative side of things that come with competitive sports and to enjoy every opportunity that much more.
