From September 13 to 23, you can add “support Canadians with an intellectual disability” to your grocery list.

In celebration of Special Olympics 50th Anniversary, Sobeys stores from coast to coast (excluding Quebec) are hosting its first-ever in-store fundraising campaign for Special Olympics Canada. To participate, all you have to do is say “YES” to donating $2 at the check out during this 10-day period.

Sobeys, a dedicated partner since 2016, helps our athletes, families and coaches eat better and feel better with nutrition guides, cooking classes and fresh, accessible food.

You can help Special Olympics athletes fuel their best by making this $2 donation from Thursday Sept. 13 to Sunday Sept. 23 at the following locations:

•    Sobeys
•    Safeway
•    Foodland Atlantic
•    IGA
•    Urban Fresh
•    Thrifty Foods

Sobeys' goal is to raise $700,000 for Special Olympics athletes across Canada during this 10-day campaign.

Are you up for the challenge?

If your response is #ChallengeAcceptedSOC, round up your toonies – and tell five friends to do the same!
