HIGHLIGHTS

  • SO Team Canada won its first match at World Games on the soccer field 4-1 against Sweden
  • Swimmers were in the pool in Dubai and earned seven medals so far.
  • The team's first basketball game was intense, with the team losing by only a margin at 22-21 against Great Britain.
  • SO Team Canada had four close games on the bocce court today, losing 9-8 against Australia, 10-9 against Pakistan and 15-7 against Panama.
  • Bowling is ready for competition in team events tomorrow after an evening of divisioning.
  • Athletes, their families, coaches, volunteers and mission staff gathered at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi for the Team Canada Family reception.
