How many years have you been involved with Special Olympics?
I have been a Special Olympics athlete for 2 years.
Why did you first get involved with Special Olympics and how has it changed your life?
I first got involved with Special Olympics to make friends and play sports with my brother. It’s changed my life by having lots of friends who are nice and help you. Also finding out I can do a lot more than I thought I could.
What is a challenge or barrier that you have overcome?
I have overcome being shy and have become more confident.
What other sports do you participate in?
I also participate in Floorball.
What has participating in Special Olympics taught you?
Participating in Special Olympics has taught me how to have healthy friendships and cooperating better with others.
What are you most looking forward to at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games?
I am looking forward to being with friends and making new ones. I am also looking forward to competing too.
What is your favourite Special Olympics moment?
My favourite Special Olympics moment was scoring my first goal. I am looking forward to scoring my first goal at a tournament next.
What does being a part of Team PEI 2026 mean to you?
Being together with friends and working together to win. Also being a good sport about it whether you win or loose.
