How many years have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I have been a Special Olympics athlete for 3 years.  

Why did you first get involved with Special Olympics and how has it changed your life?

I first got involved with Special Olympics because I enjoy playing golf. It also gives me the opportunity to travel.

What is a challenge or barrier that you have overcome?

The challenge I have overcome is living away from my family.

What other sports do you participate in?

I also participate in Softball.

What has participating in Special Olympics taught you?

Special Olympics has taught me how to work on a team.

What are you most looking forward to at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games?

I am most looking forward to traveling.

What is your favourite Special Olympics moment?

My favourite Special Olympics moment was winning a gold medal.

What does being a part of Team PEI 2026 mean to you?

Being a part of Team PEI 2026 makes me very proud.
