How many years have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I have been involved with Special Olympics for 15 years.  

Why did you first get involved with Special Olympics and how has it changed your life?

I became involved with Special Olympics because of my brother Tommy joined the organization in 2010. Being involved with Special Olympics has strengthened my comfort level when interacting with athletes.

What are you most looking forward to at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games?

I am most looking forward to ensuring that Team PEI has a great time at the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games and that my coaching of the bocce team leads to their best performance.

What is your favourite Special Olympics moment?

My favourite Special Olympics moments are watching the athletes doing their best and having fun at the Games.

What does being a part of Team PEI 2026 mean to you?

Being part of Team PEI is a honour, knowing that Team management believes that I can lead the bocce team.
