How many years have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I have been involved with Special Olympics for 25 years.  

Why did you first get involved with Special Olympics and how has it changed your life?

I've made so many incredible friends since I've started volunteering with Special Olympics.

What are you most looking forward to at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games?

I am most looking forward to just having fun with the entire team. It's always a busy, but enjoyable, week with everyone.

What is your favourite Special Olympics moment?

It would have to be when Jeremy Wall won his first medal at the Special Olympics World Summer Games.

What does being a part of Team PEI 2026 mean to you?

It makes me happy. I enjoy my time with all of my friends that I've made through Special Olympics.
