How many years have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I have been involved with Special Olympics for 3 years.

Why did you first get involved with Special Olympics and how has it changed your life?

I first got involved with Special Olympics because I wanted to give back to a community that inspires so much strength and resilience. 

What are you most looking forward to at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games?

What I’m most excited for at the 2026 SOC Summer Games is being part of a big team, soaking up all the energy and competition, and seeing how awesome our athletes do. I can’t wait to see all their hard work pay off out on the field. I'm really looking forward to working with everyone and giving it our all—win or lose. But hey, you better believe we’re going for that gold!

What is your favourite Special Olympics moment?

My favorite Special Olympics moment has to be last summer in Wolfville at the Provincial Summer Games. The whole experience was awesome—traveling, coaching, and getting to watch our team win gold. Everyone worked so hard and had such a great time. It’s a memory I’ll always hold onto.

What does being a part of Team PEI 2026 mean to you?

Being part of Team PEI 2026 honestly means a lot to me. It’s not just about the Games - it’s about representing PEI, supporting our athletes, and being part of something bigger. I'm really proud to be involved and I know how special this opportunity is. It’s something I don’t take for granted.
